It’s hard to dust off the old camera after a period of time away from photography. If you’re in the same situation as me, coming from suburban Melbourne, the camera has sat by the wayside, having exhausted most of the photographic opportunities in the local area.
However, it’s time to charge the batteries and get ready to get back out there again! Victoria is opening up again and we can start to travel into regional again. Tours are able to take place again (with some restrictions) so that means that Alpine Photography Events will start to run tours again very soon!
It can be hard to get back into the swing of things and remembering the ins and outs of using your camera. Before heading out on a big trip, it is important to familiarise yourself again with the use of your camera equipment with some shorter trips closer to home. You might find some maintenance is required and a short trip to the camera shop is a good port of call.
Now that intra-state travel can resume, we are heading back into the mountains to put the final touches on our next set of photographic tours. We want to be able to provide you with memorable trips in some stunning places. Our first set of photography tours will head to the always-gorgeous Mount Hotham. We will provide accommodation and meals during your weekend away, allowing you to focus on the photography of the stunning mountains.
Our itineraries will include sunrise photography, sunset photography as well as beautiful views. If the weather and conditions are suitable, we will also do some night-time photography and astrophotography during the astro season (when the stars and the milky way are at their best).
So pack your camera and a weekend bag and head out there! We look forward to you joining us on our next Alpine Photography adventure.
